This shot shows mutt's index view. Note the threaded display, this feature of mutt makes it very useful for reading mailing lists. In my configuration the threading of folders (amongst other things) is controlled on a per-folder basis using folder hooks.

This shot shows mutt's index view with a number of items of differently highlighted items of email. Notice that new emails are highlighted in one colour and that new emails which are replies to an email I've written are highlighted in another colour.
